Bangladesh is a country considerably rich in archaeological wealth, particularly of the primitive period both during the Muslim and pre-Muslim rules, though most of it is still unexplored and unknown. Many travelers express their impressions glorifying these places. At present, there are several sites in Bangladesh where you can still see some of those relics. North Bengal is a prior area allocated by most archaeological sites. Most of all famous Temples, Mosques, ruins cities and Jamindar Houses are located in North Bengal area. Paharpur Buddhist Bihar & Puthia temple city is traditionally famous and rich to explore as an archaeological trip
We will start a drive early morning through the picturesque rural landscape to Natore. After lunch, we will visit Natore Rajbari and the temple city of Puthia. The Shiva Temple in Puthia is the largest such temple in Bangladesh. The Govinda Temple, decorated with intricate terracotta designs, is in one of the country’s finest old Rajbari courtyards. We will check into the hotel for the night's stay.
In the morning we will drive to Paharpur. On the way, we will pass a large area of sugarcane fields and Vegetable gardens after visiting Kushumba Mosque. Visit Paharpur Buddhist Bihar, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the biggest Buddhist Monasteries of the Indian subcontinent. After lunch, we plan to drive to Bogra and visit Mahasthangarh. The oldest ruined city of Mahasthangarh and the amazing sunset in Vasu Bihar will complete your day.
The first attraction we will visit today is the vegetable market in Bogra. After that, Navaratna Temple at Sirajganj is impressive. Next, we are going to Jamuna River to experience the 1.5-hour River Cruise. Later we will drive back to Dhaka. Finish the memorable trip.
