Sreemangal is the tea capital of Bangladesh also called a green carpet, tea mountain. There are over 163 tea estates, including the largest one in the world. The terraced tea garden, pineapple, rubber, and lemon plantations form a beautiful landscape. The last remaining tropical rainforest Lawacharra, the small tract of dense forests is heaven for birdwatchers, naturalists, and adventure seekers. Drive and walk through the tea gardens, make an adventure in the rain forest, visit Madabpur dam where you can see the view of the Indian Tripura region meet the Manipuri & Khashia communities. Visit Sreemangal to experience the tea plantation and to lose yourself in the endless greenery.
Around 7:00, Our responsible guide will meet you to start toward Sreemangal. After 4:30 hrs of driving approximately, we will see the green carpet. They're more than a hundred tea gardens waiting to pleasure you. We will visit tea gardens, and rubber gardens before visiting Manipuri Tribal Village. In the evening, experience the famous traditional ‘7 layer tea’ in a tea stall called Neel Kantho. Overnight in Sreemangal.
Early in the morning, get ready to explore the Lawachara National Park, the last remaining tropical rainforest. Home to a large variety of rare and endangered species, the most prominent of which are the Hallock Gibbons. After, we will visit the Madhabpur dam (lake) beside the Indian Tripura border. We will spend time at the tea, pineapple, and lemon gardens before lunch. Spend a free evening at the beautiful resort inside the gardens.
After breakfast, we will drive for the birdwatching at wetland Baikka Beel. This is the place of thousand of migrated birds in winter. or we will go for Madhabkunda / Hum Hum waterfall. In the evening, we will drop you at your place in Dhaka. End of the trip.
